Roper St. Francis Healthcare has launched a community photo mosaic called The Big Picture to celebrate the experiences the system and our local community have shared over the years. Think: From the tears of joy when your babies were born to cheering on your friend as they’ve conquered health challenges.

The goal of the project is to celebrate all of these moments and create a snapshot of our happy + healthy community. Here’s how it works:

  1. Locals can submit photos of important moments of health, happiness + community online or on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #RSFHBigPicture.
  2. Photos will be arranged into the interactive photo mosaic online, where people can browse through all community photos online. Explore the mosaic by scrolling around and zooming in to see photos that others have shared.
  3. After all submissions are completed, Roper St. Francis Healthcare will print the giant mosaic and hang it in public areas of the hospitals and physician practices.

Students participating in the SCRUBS Program at Roper St. Francis Healthcare, which gives students an opportunity to learn about health careers from experts in the field. SCRUBS “U” Career Sessions are quarterly evening sessions concentrating on specific areas of health careers, including Neonatology, Operating Room Careers, Imaging, Physical Therapy and Pharmacy.
