Did you know that North Charleston’s first city hall was located in the Olde Village neighborhood? That’s the booming area of businesses + restaurants right by Park Circle – not to be confused with the Mount Pleasant neighborhood bearing the same name.

The building, located at 1079 E. Montague Ave. (three doors down from EVO Pizzeria), was originally constructed as part of Bennett’s Menswear. It served as City Hall in the 1970s and, for the past 30 years, it has housed Charles Towne Stained Glass. This summer, it was purchased by Columbia-based Cason Development Group – and now, the group is looking for a new tenant to call the historic structure home.

Right now, Cason Development Group is working on an interior demolition of the two story, 4420 sqft building so that prospective tenants will have a clear look at its structure + the possibilities of how the space could be transformed.

The Olde Village is quickly becoming one of the most vibrant spots in the region, making this piece of real estate an ideal spot for a variety of different businesses – say, a restaurant, retail store, office space or apartments. It even has the potential to house multiple tenants.
