In case you missed it, downtown recently gained a new park and our friend Anne over at RALtoday snapped this shot of it. Last month, the City of Charleston dedicatedShiloh Park during a ceremony at 172 Smith St. 🌳
This half-acre space is located on the grounds of the former Shiloh African Methodist Episcopal Church. Visit to explore the tropical flora, decorative fountain, and mural wall and look forward to future art installations.

A lot of work goes into our local parks. Volunteers with the Charleston Parks Conservancy have donated 5,054 hours of their time with a $151,667 financial impact — helping create accessible green spaces in our community.
The organization’s community gardens have harvested and donated 3,408 pounds of produce — equal to 2,840 meals for people in need.
