Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run & Family Festival | Sunday, Jan. 8 | 2-6 p.m. | Stoney Field, 300 Fishburne St. | Free | Head to the newly-renovated Stoney Field for a family-friendly festival featuring family yoga, outdoor activities, and a kids run.
Save the Light Oyster Roast and Reunion | Sunday, Jan. 8 | 2-5 p.m. | Bowens Island, 1870 Bowens Island Rd., Charleston | $50 | Enjoy all-you-can-eat local oysters, live music, and beer and wine at this all-inclusive event benefiting the Morris Island Lighthouse Restoration Fund.
Karaoke Sunday | Sunday, Jan. 8 | 9 p.m.-12 a.m. | Tin Roof, 1117 Magnolia Rd., Charleston | Free | Round off the weekend and sing your favorite tunes with DJ Wild Bill at this local karaoke event held every Sunday night.
