Hey, it’s Tate. Earlier this week, Lexa and I visited the new Azul Mexicano in downtown Charleston. ICYMI: The eatery opened its doors at 385 Meeting St. in December, and has additional locations on James Island and in Park Circle and Summerville.

I loved the colorful, open-air design and perused the menu of tacos, enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, and bowls. I’m still daydreaming about my shrimp and fish ceviche with avocado slices, served with chips and salsa.

I’m looking forward to warm, sunny days hanging out at the outdoor bar with a marg and a taco.
THE WRAP
Today’s issue was written by Tatum.

Editors pick: Happy Friday, friends. I don’t know about you, but lately, I’ve had art on my mind. I heard about this upcoming special exhibition at the Gibbes that sounds pretty amazing: “Un/Natural Selections: Wildlife in Contemporary Art.”

From Friday, Feb. 3-Sunday, April 16, head to galleries 8 and 9
to explore wildlife art with themes of tradition, politics, science, and aesthetics. Grab tickets to the museum.
