Hello Monday.

August 08 2022

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere 🥂

On the rocks, neat, dirty, frozen, or zero proof — we’re spilling the Long Island iced tea on the best happy hours in Charleston.

Get ready to #DrinkUpCharleston, here are 16 places lifting spirits with their sip-worthy specials.

Let the fun be-gin at these happy hour spots.

Hungry for meal deals

  • Indaco | Weekdays, 5-7 p.m. | There’s a good selection of $7 drink specials, but don’t sleep on the light bites including polpette + prosciutto di parma. Heads up: Happy hour is at the bar only, so snag your seat early.
  • Pearlz Oyster Bar | Weekdays, 4-6 p.m. | Shuck yeah. Dig into a dozen house oysters on the half shell for $18. Order a half-pound of peel + eat shrimp for $15 and sip on $3 champagne.

Order raw or steamed oysters from Pearlz with extra cocktail sauce. | Photo by @schannybop

Fun in the sun

  • Harold’s Cabin | Tues.-Fri., 4-6 p.m. | Take a buck off all wine, well + frozen drinks and kick back on the rooftop garden.
  • Minero | Wed.-Fri., 4-6 p.m. | Our perfect picnic includes margs. DIY margaritas start at $9 or cut straight to the chase with $4 chilled shot specials.
  • Barsa Tapas Lounge & Bar | Tues.-Sun., 4-7 p.m. | Enjoy $1 off beer, $2 off glasses of wine, and $3 house liquor (for simple cocktails) in the shade of an umbrella on the patio.

Bonus: The rooftop at Harold’s Cabin is dog-friendly, so bring your pup. | Photo by @haroldscabin

Beer lovers

  • Bay Street Biergarten | Wed.-Fri., 4-6 p.m. | Grab $5 snacks (like the freaky tots or the smash burger) to go with $5 off a liter of beer. It’s a good sign when a spot serves beer by the liter.
  • Moe’s Crosstown Tavern | Weekdays, 4-7 p.m. | It’s hard to beat a PBR draught for $1.75 (or $1 off well drinks + select draughts). Pair it with $5 bites like mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers, $4 Jameson and other select liquors, and $5 wine.
  • Tavern & Table | Weekdays, 4-7 p.m. | Get your fill of beer with $1 off all domestic bottles and $4 select local beers. Plus, check out the wine deals.
  • Tattooed Moose | Mon.-Sat., 4-7 p.m. | Sip on $2 basics, $3 tall boys of PBR and Modelo, and $4 house liquor.

Use the button below to keep the good times rolling.
