Happy National Dessert Day, Charleston friends. It’s basically mandatory that today is designated for us to indulge in our favorite sweet treats with absolutely no guilt. Remember: the word “stressed” is only “desserts” spelled backwards.

Charleston County Parks recently announced that the event, which takes place at James Island County Park(871 Riverland Dr.), will not allow visitors to leave their vehicles, except to use designated restrooms + will only offer snacks and drinks in a drive-thru style setting at the Park Center.
As visitors enjoy the millions of twinkling lights, there will be magical surprises along the way including a scavenger hunt + an enhanced in-car radio experience.
