Hey, it’s Tate. I recently attended the soft opening of Harriet’s Delicatessen , a new concept at Baguette Magic’s downtown location. I snacked on pastrami sandwiches, bagels, and black and white cookies. The eatery will be open from February to April for breakfast and lunch.

This modern Jewish deli was named after a New Yorker who moved south in the 1940s. Harriet was a patron of the arts and pillar of the community. Mayor Tecklenburg dropped by the opening to show his support for the deli and Harriet’s story.
