After a two-year hiatus, today marks the official return of the 8th annual Charleston Beer Week — a 10-day, 50+ event celebration of Charleston’s craft beer community. You’re probably wondering: Does this mean that happy hour is every hour? The answer is yes, for the next week and a half at least. 🍻
The events begin today + take place every day until next Sunday. Whether you’re a seasoned beer week celebrant or experiencing this all-out extravaganza for the first time, we’re here to give you a little insight into the week.

Beer week events will feature 35+ local breweries, brewpubs, establishments + eateries, such as Home Team BBQ, Revelry Brewing, Edmund’s Oast, The Alley, and Bowens Island Restaurant.
Each day, these establishments host their own celebration, whether that be oyster shucking at House of Blues West Ashley or boat racing at the Ships Wheel Regatta. Some events offer tickets for purchase in advance + others provide a pay-as-you-go option.
This year, Charleston Beer Week is kicking off the first-ever finale party , where attendees can grab a bite + brew while listening to live music, participating in lawn games and axe throwing, and bidding at a silent auction.
