This senior living facility is expected to break ground next year on King Street. The Peninsula of Charleston is a proposed independent living residence at the corner of King and Columbus streets, across from The Post and Courier.

The upscale facility is set to feature 140+ residences and is open to ages 62 and older. The Peninsula is expected to be completed in 2026.
