A 40,000-sqft pickleball club and restaurant is coming to the Lowcountry this winter featuring eight pickleball courts, an outdoor lounge and play area, dining spaces, and membership options. - International African American Museum

The museum will include an African Ancestors Memorial Garden and a Center for Family History where visitors can trace their genealogies. Visitors are expected to be welcomed in the first half of 2023 . - Park Circle Reimagined
, North Charleston
The City of North Charleston is redeveloping Park Circle’s inner circle to include a theater, an inclusive playground and baseball field, a nature garden, walking trails, and open green space. Learn more . - Keith Summey North Charleston Library

This 20,000-sqft library is expected to open this year and hold a grand opening ceremony. Expect meeting rooms, a learning lab and creative studio, a 100-person auditorium, and outdoor reading areas.
