Folly Beach Pier replacement: before and after photos

In case you missed it, Folly Beach Pier has been undergoing some major changes lately. The old pier — which opened in 1995 — was recently demolished + construction on the new concept is well underway.

NowOpen

  • Newly-renovated gift shop and half of the parking is open
  • New observation deck is open for viewing project progress + the beach and ocean
  • Newly-renovated showers are open along with a ramp to the beach on the right side of the pier

ComingSoon

  • New walkway will be completed with greater access to fishing
  • The restaurant will reopen next spring
  • The new pier will be completed in spring 2023
