Rendering provided by Hazel and Apple

Tiki-inspired pop-up Bonnys Hideaway, located next to Prohibition on King Steet, has closed its doors to make way for Hazel and Apple .

This upcoming bar is a sister concept to the NYC-based Irish pub The Dead Rabbit , which was named The World’s Best Bar in 2016.

The Hazel will be an informal bar in the front space serving whiskeys, classic cocktails, draft beer, and coffee. At the rear will be The Apple, an elevated cocktail space with a patio.

The menus will feature a combo of Irish, British, and local fare, with a focus on seafood.

Hazel and Apple is expected to open this spring at 549 King St., according to the bar’s website. Take a look inside while you wait.
