The Charleston Pride Festival has been rescheduled. The festival will now take place on Sat., Nov. 12 from 12-6 p.m. at The Refinery — with free general admission and VIP options. Charleston Pride Week is set for Sun., Nov. 6 to Sun., Nov. 13. Attend the festival at 1640 Meeting Street Rd.
Development
Port 95 Business Park has broken ground at the 1,300-acre Winding Woods Industrial Park on Highway 78. The park will feature three buildings including a future 240,000-sqft space for distribution, manufacturing, or refrigeration — expected to be completed in 2024. (WCIV + WCBD)

Meet the newcomers:
🎨 Amiri Farris is a contemporary, multidisciplinary artist and professor of fine arts. His work includes painting, drawing, video, performance, and installation that examines subjects like Gullah Geechee culture, memory, and perception.
🎨 Nadia Stieglitz is a local ceramicist who focuses on organic abstract forms. She works out of Studio Union in Charleston and has formal training in fine arts and photography. Nadia’s art explores gendered notions of space.
Both artists will hold studio hours at the Gibbes on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Check it out at 135 Meeting St.
