Indulge in fall flavors:

  • Choose from a selection of seasonal shareables like Camarones al Curry and Duck and Butternut Meloso at Bulla Gastrobar, a Southpark neighborhood restaurant known for Spanish tapas and cuisine.

  • Get cozy at Treehouse Vineyards and enjoy locally-produced vintages by the firepit.
  • Take in the scenery at Veronét Vineyards & Winery and admire the sweeping views of the vineyard and Crowders Mountain — the perfect backdrop to enjoy a tasting flight paired with charcuterie.
  • For city scenery, grab a seat at Merchant and Trade’s rooftop bar overlooking the Queen City skyline.
  • Afterward, head over to Spectrum Center, home to the Charlotte Hornets and host to a variety of events year-round (think: concerts, conferences, and more).

  • For high end shops, head to SouthPark for your favorites from Gucci to Tory Burch.

Maya launches a new menu in Charleston, SC

Have you heard? Downtown Mexican restaurant Maya has revamped its menu and we had the opportunity to try it out.

Here are the highlights:

🍽️ Appetizers including skillet queso with chorizo or mushrooms, queso fresco + cilantro
🍽️ Tacos with fried cobia or grilled Mahi on nixtamal corn tortillas
🍽️ Enchiladas with corn tortillas, potato + chihuahua cheese
🍽️ Signature Mole Dish with short rib mole Rojo, slow braised short rib, traditional Oaxacan mole Rojo + Mexican-style rice

The beverage menu features freshly-squeezed juices for margaritas and spins on classics.

Check it out at 479 King St. daily + snag a seat out on the open-air patio.

Editors pick: Hey readers, make room for more good eats. Downtown eatery Rancho Lewis, which serves up border-food-meets-cowboy cuisine, is launching a new happy hour menu starting tomorrow, Nov. 15.

Look forward to half-off drinks from the Cantina menu (the Rattlesnake Milk cocktail is amazing) and half-off appetizers including $5 margaritas, $7 shrimp cocktails, and $4 chile con queso.

The eatery will be open daily beginning tomorrow at 1503 King St. Stop by for happy hour Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m.
