A toast to the city: Charleston Cocktail Week kicks off April 21

A Charlestonian walks into a bar... and orders a delicious drink during Charleston Cocktail Week. This year’s festival will run from Monday, April 24 through Sunday, April 30.

Look forward to $7-$10 signature cocktails at local bars and restaurants like The Darling Oyster Bar, Maya, and Bar Vauté. Several spots will also offer appetizer pairings for a fixed price. Check out this mix of drinks and events to try all week long.

Follow the recipe

  • A hint of citrus. Enjoy the Rêves D’été cocktail at Bar Vauté with vermouth, pineapple liqueur, citrus, and soda.
  • A splash of wine. On Thursday, April 27, experience a six-course Chocolate and Wine Pairing featuring handmade chocolates at The Wine Shop.
  • A sprinkle of herbs. Head to Uncork for a sliced baguette with goat cheese, strawberries, fresh basil, and a balsamic reduction paired with the Stargazer Martini.
  • A dash of bitters. Try the Breakfast In America cocktail at Jack of Cups Saloon featuring rye whiskey, cocoa bitters, and basmati rice rinse.
  • A spritz of florals. On Saturday, April 29, create personalized scents while sipping champagne at the Perfume & Cologne Making Class at Tijon.
  • A drizzle of honey. Savor the mini ham biscuits appetizer with prosciutto, mustard, hot honey, and a pickle slice and sip the Sour Pear cocktail at Bourbon N’ Bubbles.
