    • Logistics service company IronLink is establishing operations in Charleston County. The Governor’s Office says the $16.45 million investment will create 250 new jobs. The company is located at 6880 Weber Blvd. in Ladson.
    Development
    • Daniel Island is a step closer to seeing a new public riverfront park after a $4 million deal between the State Ports Authority and Berkeley County government. The park is planned for the island’s northwestern side. The ~115-acre plot will sit between the end of Seven Farms Drive and the Cooper River. (The Daniel Island News)
    Environment
    • The SC State Department of Natural Resources counted more than 6,600 sea turtle nests during this year’s nesting season. That’s down from 2022, but up compared to the two years prior. DNR says the hatchlings felt the impacts of Tropical Storm Idalia, King Tides, and predators like armadillos and coyotes. (The Post and Courier)

    • Tomorrow night is the annual football showdown between the Clemson Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks. The teams will play at 7:30 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia. (WCBD)

    Volunteers help students with their new bikes.
    No need to know how to build a bike, it’s easier than you think. | Provided by Going Places Nonprofit
    Next month, nonprofit Going Places will surprise 630 students from Goodwin Elementary + Minnie Hughes Elementary with a new custom bike, lock, helmet, and bike pump. But the group needs help with the builds and reveals.

    Wednesday, Nov. 29-Friday, Dec. 1 | 10 a.m.-6 p.m. | Bintelli Warehouse, 6900 Weber Blvd., Ladson
    • 40 volunteers per two-hour time slot are needed.
