  • $33 million. That’s the economic impact the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) is expected to have on the Lowcountry, according to a study conducted last year. It also shows that ~40,000 people attend the three-day event each year. The SEWE team says they will release specific data from this year soon. (WCIV)

  • A Sullivan’s Island staple and Lowcountry favorite, The Obstinate Daughter, was ranked No. 75 on Yelp’s list of Top 100 Pizza Places in the US. It was the only SC restaurant included on the list.
