Welcome back to our CHStoday BBQ bracket, where we’re asking you to determine the best BBQ spot in the Holy City.
After another round of voting, we’re down to two “teams” left:
Home Team BBQ and Lewis Barbecue | As if deciding between ribs, chicken, sausage, pork, or turkey was not hard enough, you’ll have to decide between these two Lowcountry staples that have mastered the low + slow technique — so good luck choosing between these heavy hitters.
Vote in our bracket and help us choose who serves the best BBQ.

Did you know? The International African American Museum is located directly on the site of Gadsden’s Wharf in historic downtown Charleston. That’s where an estimated 40% of African captives entered the country, setting foot on American soil.
As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the African Ancestors Memorial Garden — a beautiful nod to that history. Inside, the exhibits weave a dynamic tapestry of the global African American experience.
If you’re looking to dive deeper into the museum experience, becoming an annual member comes with an array of perks, such as:
Unlimited general admission for one year
Free or reduced admission to select programs
Access to member-only events + giveaways
15% discount in the museum shop and on additional admission tickets
Bonus: All March long, snag 10% off annual memberships and jump right into member giveaways (think: prizes like experiences and restaurant gift cards).
