Outdoors
Adding new signage to the West Ashley Greenway trail is underway as the first step in implementing the 2019 Greenway Master Plan. The new signs will include trail etiquette, history, wildlife information, locators, and maps. Plans for the project include parks and community gardens. (WCSC)
Development
The City of Charleston has approved the demolition of The Alley for a new hotel called The Lowline Hotel at 131 Columbus St. For now, the plans call for eight stories with underground parking and a bar and dining room. It will sit by the future Lowcountry Lowline Park. (WCSC)
Concert
Don’t stop believing. The legendary rock band Journey will make a stop for their 50 anniversary Freedom Tour at the North Charleston Coliseum on Tuesday, April 23. Get your tickets.
