Charlestonian
In six years, Allegiance Flag Supply, a Charleston flag-making business, grew from three college friends to 60 employees. Still growing, the company recently announced a $6.3 million expansion. Learn more about the folks behind the local business. (Charleston Regional Business Journal)
Development
Lowcountry Oyster Company is beginning a $6.4 million project to expand production, which will also bring 30 new jobs. The new facility will house a chilled water wet storage system and climate-controlled processing and holding areas. Last month City Editors Erika + Callie toured the oyster farm.
Real Estate
This 19th century, eight-unit multi-family property recently sold for ~$3.7 million. The complex with 10 bedrooms + 10.5 bathrooms is located at 49 Smith St. and was built in 1860. (Charleston Regional Business Journal)
