Opening
  • Middleton Made Knives, a locally-based company renowned for its handcrafted culinary knives, is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location next month in Navy Yard Charleston’s Storehouse 9. The shop will offer a range of handcrafted knives and knife sharpening services.
Concert
  • The Cody Johnson concert scheduled for tomorrow, Sept. 21 at Credit One Stadium has been postponed due to Johnson battling an illness the past several days, which has caused him to lose his voice. Purchased tickets will be honored on the new date, which has yet to be announced.
Community
  • The finalists are in for Charleston County’s Board of Voter Registration and Elections sticker design contest. Check out the designs and like or heart your favorite now through Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Cause
  • Halls Chophouse Nexton launched its Dine & Donate initiative, which will run until this Sunday, Sept. 22. The restaurant is offering guests a curated three-course meal with $5 from every meal benefiting the Lowcountry chapter of the American Red Cross. (WCIV)

Revelry Brewing celebrates 10 years of craft beer and community

Revelry Brewing is celebrating a major milestone — 10 years of crafting beer + giving back to the community.

Since its inception in 2014, the Charleston-based brewery has grown and now has two locations. To celebrate, Revelry will host its 10th Anniversary Block Party on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 12 to 6 p.m.

Attendees can expect:
Tickets are $10. Pro tip: Kids 10 years and younger get in for free. All proceeds benefit The Green Heart Project, a local nonprofit focused on building urban gardens and farm-to-school programs. This year’s party will showcase the new Singleton Park Garden, a space that will serve as an outdoor classroom for students at Meeting Street Academy.
