The West Ashley Burger King has been demolished after sitting empty for five years. The shuttered fast-food chain sat on a busy intersection across from the Total Wine and Paisano’s Pizza Grill. A First National Bank will call the corner of Ashley River Road + Sam Rittenberg Boulevard home early next year. (The Post and Courier)
