Crews have been prepping for a year for the upcoming relocation of a 100-year-old, 500,000-pound oak tree in Mount Pleasant. The tree will be moved ~700 feet to be a central point of the Gather MTP development. (Post and Courier)

The City of Charleston is bringing back the Holy City Holiday Park and Shop Pass this year, which covers 2 hours of free parking at select garages downtown through the holiday season. (WCIV)
