Charleston is looking ahead to address flooding. The city released its 2023 Flooding and Sea Level Rise Strategy as an online storymap to keep citizens up-to-date on plans.
The update reflects a city-wide approach to flooding, draining, and sea level rise in the Lowcountry. The strategy includes five critical components: infrastructure, governance, land use, resources, outreach, and partnerships.
