Development projects to alleviate and accommodate a growing Charleston population could soon be on the way. The City of Charleston Design Review Board
granted preliminary approval
to a school, fast food restaurant, and car wash + retail shops.
- Goddard Preschool is planned for 1137 Folly Rd., Charleston.
- Chick-fil-A is planned for 1000 Floyd Dr., Charleston (West Ashley Circle area).
- Time To Shine Car Wash + retail shops are planned for 1030 Floyd Dr., Charleston.
The projects will head Charleston’s Technical Review Committee + beginning the permitting process.
Get involved with the future development of the city and attend the next Design Review Board meeting. They are held on the first + third Monday of the month at 4:30 p.m. The next meeting is on Monday, Feb. 5.
