Are you a fan of Netflix’s “Is It Cake?” If so, you could take a class from season 3 contestant Julie McAllister, a Charleston-based cake artist.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m., McAllister will lead a hands-on workshop at downtown Charleston hotel The Loutrel, where attendees will learn how to craft ultra-realistic chocolate oysters using advanced coloring + texturizing techniques. No prior baking or cake decorating skills are required. Wine and light bites will be provided by The Loutrel’s Veranda Lounge.

The cost is $125 per person. Don’t wait to snag your tickets — there’s limited availability.
