Did you know? It’s World Space Week. These seven days are dedicated to sparking curiosity and strengthening our understanding of space and its impact on society.

Here in Charleston, there’s a celebration that’s going to be out of this world. On Tuesday, Oct. 8, NASA astronaut Robert ‘Hoot’ Gibson will make a stop at Flight Adventure Park.

Captain Hoot will visit the park for an exclusive space education meet + greet. Pro tip: Guests will receive a discount of 36.5% off park entry in honor of the number of days Captain Hoot has spent in space.

The annual festival will be back on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. The Charleston Beer Fest will offer tastings from 75+ breweries, live music, and a variety of local vendors.
