Local cake artist Julie McAllister (from Julie McAllister Cakes) was selected to compete in the newest season of Netflix’s ”Is It Cake? Season 3.” We can’t wait to binge it.

McAllister’s realistic groom, brand, and custom cakes typically have a southern focus and have captured the attention of celebrities and national brands.

Fun fact: McAllister crafted Reese Witherspoon’s birthday cake inspired by her brand Draper James in 2018 + 2022 and has been featured on the Food Network and Discovery+ in “Holiday Wars Season 4.”

Cheer on this Lowcountry star as she displays her cake skills on, “Is It Cake? Season 3,” which premieres today, March 29.
