Porch sittin’ season is in full swing. With the weather warm + the nights still slightly cool, there’s no better time to dine al-fresco than now. And, with the new rules + regulations surrounding COVID-19, patios are sometimes the only option for dining in at your go-to restaurant.

Bay Street Biergarten , 549 East Bay St.

Known as Charleston’s first contemporary biergarten with 70 beers on tap + a pup-friendly patio.

Poogan’s Porch , 72 Queen St.

This charming Queen Street restaurant is one of Charleston’s oldest dining establishments with traditional Southern dining out on the piazza.

In accordance with the new mask ordinance, Poogan’s Porch is requiring patrons to wear a mask when entering, exiting + moving throughout the building. Masks can be taken off once seated.

Barsa , 630 King St.

This King Street tapas bar + lounge has plenty of happy hours specials to enjoy.

COVID-19 updates:
Barsa is asking patrons to wear a mask when entering + exiting the restaurant/patio + moving throughout the dining areas.
No parties larger than 8 will be seated. Additional guests will be seated at a nearby table or placed on a waitlist.
To be served, guests must be seated.
There will not be an open waiting area.

Baker & Brewer , 94 Stuart St.

Edmund’s Oast , 1081 Morrison Dr.

A combination of a brewery + seasonally-focused kitchen with covered patio seating for you + up to 100 of your friends. Our recommendation– the Peanut Butter + Jelly beer.

In their words, “Inside is Boring.” This casual creekside venue is the perfect place to enjoy cold beer + fresh local seafood with a view.
