For as long as I can remember, one of my favorite pastimes has been scrolling through local real estate listings, from multi-million dollar mansions to homes for rent near me. Above all, I loved to dream about what it would be like to live just steps from historic landmarks in downtown Charleston while growing up in Mount Pleasant.

Enter: The listing for 85 Cumberland St. #17. This one-bed, one-bath property just hit the market with Isle of Palms-based real estate agency McConnell Real Estate Partners , and is quite literally located one block from the Charleston City Market. It practically screams prime location.

Situated on the second floor, the corner unit features exposed brick walls (swoon), 10-ft ceilings, a large walk-in closet, and marble floors with a $560,000 price tag.
