On Tuesday, Condé Nast Traveler released this year’s list of The Best Cities in the U.S.: 2022 Readers’ Choice Awards, and you’ll probably spot a familiar place as the No. 1 best small city.

By this point, you may not even be surprised by this ranking, since the awards just keep rollin’ in. Here’s what else we’ve been in the headlines for lately:
🏆 We’ve been ranked No. 1 on Travel + Leisure’s list of the Top 10 U.S. Cities for ten years in a row.
⚾ Charleston was named the No. 1 minor league sports market the day before the Charleston RiverDogs were crowned Carolina League Champions for the second year in a row.

The Latin American Festival is headed to Wannamaker County Park this Sunday from 12-5 p.m. The annual event works to celebrate the Latin and Caribbean cultures in Charleston with live music, artwork + crafts, and bites like empanadas and Arroz con Pollo. Admission is $10. 🎟️
Speaking of festivals, Brookgreen Gardens is hosting its annual Harvest Home Weekend Festival on Sat., Oct. 8-Sun., Oct. 9. Enjoy a pumpkin patch and pumpkin decorating, food vendors like Kona Ice and Let’s Ride BBQ, and scarecrow making. Grab garden admission tickets. 🎃
