Pure Theatre will kick off its 22nd season next month

Get your popcorn ready. Pure Theatre’s 22nd season, “A Season of Delight,” kicks off next month.
The new season starts in September and features five productions, including a world premiere musical and two regional premieres. All performances will be held downtown at the Cannon Street Arts Center.
Upcoming season:
“Fat Ham” | Thursday, Sept. 5-Saturday, Sept. 21 | Making its SC debut, this modern-day adaptation of “Hamlet” won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama last year.
“The Last Five Years” | Thursday, Nov. 7-Saturday, Nov. 30 | This musical, about the relationship between a novelist and a struggling actress, won the Drama Desk Award for music and lyrics last year.
“The Shark is Broken” | Thursday, Jan. 16-Saturday, Feb. 8 | A comedy exploring the behind-the-scenes drama of “Jaws.”
“Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson - Apt. 2B” | Thursday, March 6-Saturday, March 29 | Follow two roommates as they solve mysteries in this intriguing performance.
“Pleasure Never Lies” | Thursday, April 10-Saturday, May 3 | A world premiere musical by Marshall Higgins, Noah Brady, and Charleston’s own Brad Moranz.

Cambio Roasters, a Charleston coffee company, says they are the first brand to develop recyclable aluminum K-cups, aiming to reduce single-use pods filling up our landfills.
