City Editor Callie here. I’m so excited for the “Southern Living Lowcountry Tailgate.” Some things are certain, and college football on Saturdays in the fall is one of those certainties. This event will capture the pregame tradition just steps away from the Southern Living Idea House at The Dunlin on the Kiawah River.
Talent
The Lowcountry will welcome dozens of chefs, celebrities, and former athletes for the event. Some of those folks include Andrew Zimmern, who has won an Emmy and several James Beard Awards. Al Roker from NBC News’ TODAY will be in town and so will professional athlete and winemaker CJ McCollum.
Meet Carrie Morey of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit — a local star who will be featured at this inaugural culinary event.
