  • $195 million. That’s how much federal funding will be contributed to the Long Pointe Road Interchange project. These details were announced during the SC Port Authority’s State of the Port Address. The economic impact of the ports is up 37% since June 2023, which is a total contribution of $87 billion to the state’s economy. (Charleston Regional Business Journal)

  • Soon, you’ll have more parking options at Charleston International Airport. Last week, folks at CHS celebrated the groundbreaking of a new six-level parking garage, which will feature 5,164 spaces for private vehicles and 2,036 spaces for rental cars. The new parking garage is expected to open in the fall of 2027.
