Development

The project promises to increase flow out of the intersection by 70,000 gallons of water per minute, reducing the flooding impacts. Construction will take ~18 months.

For richer or pour over, Charleston’s coffee shops are what keep us going in the morning. Here are some of the Lowcountry’s best spots.
Best bites
babas on cannon | This local spot uses regional products of the southeast
In-house roasted beans
Big kick coffee roasters | The downtown spot roasts its beans on-site + sells them roasted or brewed.
On-the-go joe
Cafe de Fleur | Summerville’s nickname of “The Flowertown In The Pines” inspired this coffee shop’s name.
Where to write your novel
City Lights Eastside | Stop by for your cup of coffee + stay for the cozy atmosphere.
Roasts to boast
Gala Cafe & Bakery | Stop by this Mount Pleasant location for all the European vibes.
A 60% off deal on an LED floor lamp perfect for your entertaining space. The minimalist lamp can be set to dozens of color combinations + light effects for the exact ambience you desire.
Looking to switch up your scenery? I highly recommend the coziest Spring Street coffee shop, Bad Bunnies.
I recently worked from this spot with the best vibes + kindest staff. The barista who served my dirty chai tea took time to connect with each guest and to ask about their days.
