A new exhibit will debut at The Charleston Museum on Saturday, May 3, and run through January 18, 2026. “Reimagined Fashion: Creation of the Future Past” will be on display in the Historic Textile Gallery and features original works by local designers from diverse artistic backgrounds.
Each piece is inspired by objects in the museum’s Historic Textile Collection, reimagined as contemporary garments, jewelry, and accessories. Fun Fact: The Historic Textiles Collection includes ~10,000 objects.
Bonus: There’s an opening party on Friday, May 2, to celebrate — be among the first to experience the exhibit. Tickets start at $70.
