Point Hope, a 9,000-acre master-planned community, will add homes, retail, and trails to the Clements Ferry area. About 4,500 acres are developable, with 1,000 acres for parks + trails. Following months of construction, the Pitt Street Bridge is now open to pedestrian and cyclist traffic. The area is closed to vehicle traffic, including golf carts. Heads up, there may be occasional closures until the project is fully complete.

Last week, we told you that Roper St. Francis’ new 10-story hospital is slated to open in 2029, and expected to create 3,600 jobs — today we’re seeing what things will look like. A $96 million proposed redevelopment project for North Main Street could stall unless the Summerville Board of Architectural Review gives final approval or grants an extension. Plans include a new county services building, retail space, workforce housing, and a public park. The agreement is set to expire Monday, June 30. (WCBD)
