Brothers Gal and Tal Alhadef are opening Mazal, a new Israeli restaurant in West Ashley, taking over the former Crab Shack space. Patrons can expect falafel, shawarma, pita, and other Israeli classics. Mazal is aiming to open next month. (The Post and Courier)

Sweet news: Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has opened on upper King Street. The flagship store features handcrafted sweet treats, including fudge, caramel apples, and truffles. It’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Charleston Daily)
Closing
Condon’s Bridal Boutique, which has deep Lowcountry roots dating back to its start as a department store in 1896, is closing. Current owner Frances Condon, a fourth-generation family member, shared the news on Facebook. The store, now inside Citadel Mall, is holding a total liquidation sale. (WCBD)
Sports
The SC Stingrays are up for six ECHL awards, including community service, theme night, and inclusivity. Three staff members received individual nominations. Winners will be announced later this month during the league’s summer meetings in Orlando.
Open
Trident Medical Center recently celebrated the opening of its new $10 million Neuro Rehabilitation unit. The 10-bed facility is designed to improve access to care for patients recovering from traumatic injuries. (WCIV)
