Lowcountry Classics

The Charleston Festival | Until Saturday, April 11 | 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m. | Various locations around the peninsula | $20+ | Formerly known as the Festival of Houses and Gardens — the festival aims to bring educational events to the community that spread awareness, teach history, and celebrate culture, all while benefiting the Historic Charleston Foundation.

2026 Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival | Sunday, April 26 | 11 a.m.-5 p.m. | Memorial Waterfront Park, Mount Pleasant | Free entry | Pay tribute to Mount Pleasant’s local shrimping and fishing industry with a family-friendly boat parade and ceremonial blessing of the fleet, live music, a craft show, and lots of seafood.

Credit One Charleston Open Watch Party | Until Sunday, April 5 | Times vary | American Gardens | Free | Join the ultimate tennis watch party features live tournament coverage in a garden atmosphere, all tournament long.

Concerts

Old Crow Medicine Show | Wednesday, April 1 | 7:30 p.m. | Gaillard Center | $53+ | Join this series of intimate shows celebrating the band’s earliest recordings.

College of Charleston International Piano Series | 7 p.m. | Sottile Theatre | $10+ | CofC’s School of the Arts presents the International Piano Series, which is Charleston’s longest-running, year-round program with a sole focus on piano.

Charleston Jazz Festival 2026 | Monday, April 13-Tuesday, April 21 | Times vary | Venues and prices may vary | Join nine full days of world-class artists at iconic Charleston venues.

High Water | Saturday, April 18-Sunday, April 19 | 1 p.m. | Riverfront Park, North Charleston | $260+ | Musicians from all over the world will flock to Riverfront to play their songs and create a musical oasis.

James Island Town Market | Friday, April 3, Friday, May 1 | 6-9 p.m. | Town Hall Parking Lot | Free entry | Enjoy live music, crafts, lawn games, food trucks, and fresh produce.

Easter Market and Home Tour | Saturday, April 4 | 11 a.m.-3 p.m. | The Farmhouse at Kiawah River, Johns Island | Free | The family fun includes home Tours, food trucks, live music, a local artisanal market, and children’s Activities.

Outside Streetball Festival ft. Nappy Roots | Saturday, April 4 | 12-9 p.m. | The Refinery | $45 | Join this three-on-three basketball tournament with a cash prize (and live on-court commentary), a dunk contest, on-site painting by local artists, food vendors, and a headline performance by Nappy Roots.
