Out of the kitchen and into nature. Not one but two Lowcountry chefs are showing off their cooking skills on the big screen. In separate episodes of “Barbecue: Life of Fire,” chefs Jason Stanhope (Sullivan’s Fish Camp) and James London (Chubby Fish, Seahorse) join Tennessee pitmaster Pat Martin for a lesson in cooking + history — sharing their own experiences with live fire cooking.

On Tuesday, July 29, at 7 p.m., Martin and Stanhope meet up outside of Charleston for a day of quail hunting and grilling birds over live coals.
On Tuesday, August 12, at 6 p.m., Martin fishes the coastal inlets of the Holy City for sheepshead, which grills with London.

Development
The Citadel’s revised football stadium upgrade plans received conceptual approval from Charleston’s Board of Architectural Review — Large. Developers were asked to make tweaks + to meet with the neighborhood before the plan moves forward. The next meeting is on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
