The Chick-fil-A on Rivers Avenue is growing, renovating, and expanding. During that process, the chicken chain will demolish the former Wild Wing Cafe (which closed last year) to clear space for its new 5,603-sqft building. The new spot will feature a multi-lane drive-thru. (The Post and Courier)

Traffic alert. The railroad crossing on Ashley Phosphate Road between Southrail Road + Palmetto Commerce Parkway in North Charleston is closed for emergency repairs. The closure has changed some CARTA routes. The road should be back open this evening at 5 p.m. (WCIV)
