Set among Kiawah River’s ancient oaks at The Dunlin’s River Barns, this ticketed event features Southern Living’s Sid Evans, Trisha Yearwood, and culinary stars like Sean Brock, Emeril Lagasse, John Lewis, and Rodney Scott.
🐊 Backroads Safari | Saturdays throughout the fall
Celebrate the wild side of the sea islands aboard an open-air safari ride as naturalists guide guests down hidden trails. Watch for estuary dolphins playfully surfacing, flashes of bright feathers overhead, and the quiet magic that makes Kiawah River feel like a world apart.
James London was a 2024 James Beard Award Finalist for Best Chef: Southeast, and in 2025, Chubby Fish received a James Beard nomination for Outstanding Restaurant.
With no reservations and a menu that changes daily, the cozy Coming Street restaurant highlights locally sourced, seasonal seafood and produce in creatively cultivated dishes.
