The annual Harvest Festival is hosted by the City of North Charleston and the Park Circle Business Collective

The 12th Annual Harvest Festival is set to return to North Charleston on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Olde Village (near Park Circle).
The free family event will be held rain-or-shine and feature live music, an artist market, costume contests, trick-or-treating, a petting zoo, and children’s activities. Plus, some restaurants in the Olde Village will offer food and drink specials.
Pro tip: Parking for the event is free, and East Montague Avenue will be closed to cars from Jenkins Avenue to Virginia Avenue starting at 2 p.m. and lasting through the event.
Nothing says fall like decorating pumpkins. While several places around town host pumpkin carving and painting events, we recommend trying out the Pumpkin Carving with Goats experience at Flowertown Charm in Summerville.
Pumpkin carving runs nightly at 5:30 p.m. through Halloween. Tickets include a pumpkin, carving tools, stencils, and hands-on time with the animals.

🏀 It’s bigger than the game. Before their preseason game on Sunday, the Charlotte Hornets presented the Boys and Girls Club of North Charleston with $25,000 donation. The club says it plans to use the donation for a mobile computer lab.
