Lottery-funded scholarships are helping students like Anna Abu-Sal and Rallee Balagtas turn opportunity into impact across SC.
Anna Abu-Sal turned her love of music into a career in therapy, using music to support and heal her patients. Rallee Balagtas returned to school to pursue a new path. Both were supported by the lottery-funded LIFE Scholarship.

Ready to go with the flow? Of traffic that is. Berkeley County and the City of Charleston are taking steps to replace the traffic lights at River Landing and Seven Farms Drive on Daniel Island with a new roundabout. Construction is set to begin at the end of the year. (WCSC)

Legacy
Joseph Pye, former superintendent for Dorchester School District Two, has died. Pye dedicated over 50 years to public education, beginning with the district in 1973. He became superintendent in 1999 and served in the role until his retirement in 2022. (The Post and Courier)
