The festival had two stages: Magnolia and Live Oak.

Hey, it’s Tatum. I went to the first-ever Riverfront Revival music festival at North Charleston Riverfront Park and it was pretty awesome. My favorite performances were by Charleston’s own SUSTO and Darius Rucker.

Since the festival is considering bringing the event back next year, I’m sharing my pro tips for 2023.

What I’d bring next time:

  • Small backpack: Pack the essentials and enjoy a hands-free experience.
  • Outdoor blanket: Sprawl out on the lawn while you listen to tunes.
  • Water bottle: Fill it up at hydration stations throughout the park.
  • Walking shoes: Throw on some sneakers or your comfiest, well-worn pair of cowboy boots.
  • Portable charger: Keep your phone juiced up.

I’m crossing my fingers that the fest returns in 2023. For news + updates on future events, sign up for the Riverfront Revival newsletter.
