Ready for community review and feedback, the 44-acre design includes miles of boardwalk and trail space, a Welcome Center Pavilion, a nature play area, and educational information on the Angel Oak tree and the native people that have held it sacred.
What’s the timeline?
Construction could begin within 18-24 months. The project is currently in the second phase of public outreach.
How much will this cost?
The project’s total cost is currently an estimated $6 million.
