The Zodiac Signs as Charleston landmarks

Which spot are you?

Charleston has so much personality in every site and landmark — it got us thinking about the city’s horoscope signs. We have rounded up the Holy City landmarks that — we think — resonate with each zodiac sign.

Aries | Rainbow Row | March 21 - April 19

These houses stand out against the rest of the city, just like an Aries does. The fire sign is known for being bold and we think of Rainbow Row when it comes to being one-of-a-kind and unique to Charleston.

Taurus | Morris Island Lighthouse | April 20 - May 20

Being down to earth and loyal are some of the main features of a Taurus. It doesn’t get more down to earth than being in the ocean itself. This lighthouse has remained loyal to our city by withstanding many hurricanes and repairs over the years.

Gemini | King Street | May 21 - June 21

When it comes to having fun and being social, Geminis and King Street are one and the same. King Street is filled with bars and restaurants for Geminis to indulge in their socializing fix.

Cancer | Angel Oak Tree | June 22 - July 22

Cancers are the sign known for being sensitive and thoughtful. We visual the soft billowy nature of the Angel Oak Tree to show off the gentle nature of this horoscope. Not to mention their romantic demeanor pairs well with this being a popular spot for proposals.

Leo | Pineapple Fountain | July 23 - August 22

The Pineapple Fountain is no doubt the center of attention for tourists in Charleston. It stands confident and proud as swarms of people gather around for selfies. Leos are natural leaders and bask in the limelight, similar to this landmark.

Virgo | The Battery and White Point Garden | August 23 - September 22

Qualities of being humble and practical are popular with the Virgo sign. When we think of everyday life, we visualize the Battery as people are constantly driving past, running, and parking there. It stands modest but well known among local sites.

Libra | Ravenel Bridge | September 23 - October 23

Libras flourish by being social, friendly, and charming. One of the most welcoming sights in our city is driving over the Ravenel Bridge, which connects the outside world to downtown and brings visitors from all over.

Scorpio | Dock Street Theater | October 24 - November 21

The Dock Street Theater is a staple downtown for feeling emotional through the world of art and plays. Scorpios can display that very same emotion and are passionate + mysterious. We paired these two based on the mystery and ghost tales of the theater.

Sagittarius | Shem Creek | November 22 - December 21

Sagittarius people are very adventurous and carefree, which are traits we also see in Shem Creek. With bars to unwind and relax matched with boat and kayaking adventures, Shem Creek is a very similar blend to the Sagittarius.

Capricorn | College of Charleston | December 22 - January 19

Intelligence and self-control run strong in the ambitious Capricorns. These traits remind us of The College of Charleston, which allows educational programs for thousands of students to thrive and challenge their curiosity.

Aquarius | Charleston Harbor | January 20 - February 18

The independent and unique Aquarius made us think outside of the box, or in other words, outside of the city to pick this spot. The Harbor stands on its own with ever-changing tides to vibe with this water sign.

Pisces | Pitt Street Bridge | February 19 - March 20

Romance and creativity are distinctive qualities of the Pisces sign. Pitt Street Bridge is one of the most romantic spots in Charleston to go on a quiet date. Also, let your creativity roam at this park through wildlife photography and sunsets that look like paintings.
