The Gibbes Museum of Art will have a new limited artist in residency from Sunday, July 30, through Sunday, Aug. 19. The artist is Kate March, a performer, choreographer, painter, and poet based in Charleston.

During her residency, she will paint six large-scale art pieces with her body that represent herself and five other women’s experiences with pain when dealing with endometriosis. Her final performance, Nether Space(s), will take place on August 19, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will include all six pieces. Ticket prices are $20 for members, $30 for nonmembers, and $10 for students and faculty.

Following the performance, there will be a wine reception, and a brief panel discussion with Kate and women’s health professionals.
