Arrgh you ready to p-arrr-ty. There is more time to prepare for the Blockade of Charleston Festival, which will now take place on Saturday, June 15, starting at 1 p.m. The event originally scheduled for Saturday, May 18, was moved due to weather concerns.

Follywood Productions hosts the annual pirate theme festival at Patriots Point Stadium inspired by Blackbeard’s blockade of the Port of Charles Town in 1718.

Here’s what is the same

  • ~Eight hours of live music
  • Food trucks
  • Kids activities
  • 40+ art and apparel vendors
  • The Best Pirate Costume Contest at 5 p.m. on the main stage —there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Here’s what has changed

There will be a few changes to the entertainment, vendors, and food truck lineups.

The good news is you now have more time to get your tickets. Those who previously bought tickets will have them honored at the rescheduled date (no further action is needed).

What do you do if you can’t make the new date?
